Real Warfare

Do not take it personally if you find yourself on the wrong side of people or circumstances when the Holy Spirit shows up to help you—He has already picked sides, and you must follow Him with regard to sin, righteousness, and judgment. The Kingdom of God is advancing and confrontation is inevitable. Side with the Holy Spirit, and then you will find victory in your prayer conquests. God wants to answer your prayers—always. Remember that you must confront the world and the evil one with the truth. This is also the work of the Holy Spirit even if it is seldom mentioned by anyone. Jesus said, “But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you” (Luke 11:20). It is a sign of the times when we do not hear the full counsel of God from the Word.

Enemies of Visitation in Prayer

When you feel pressure, do not react as usual. The enemy may have programmed you to respond a certain way. It is time to break that conditioned response and react according to who you truly are in Jesus Christ. Identify yourself with the Kingdom of God. Learn to yield to the Holy Spirit and what the Word of the Lord is for the moment. Prayer sometimes becomes a reactionary part of our daily life because it becomes necessary. God wants it to be conversational and a continual communion. You get into the frame of mind that God is always with you! He never leaves you.

The Ways of Visitation During Prayer

“The Lord your God is in your midst, a warrior who gives victory; he will rejoice over you with gladness, he will renew you in his love; he will exult over you with loud singing…”
(Zephaniah 3:17 RSV)
