Water Springs Ranch
Kevin and Kathi have fallen in love with the kids at Water Springs Ranch Children’s Home in Texarkana, TX, and have visited there several times. Warrior Notes has purchased two vans, built a home for the children, and held special Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations with them. Kevin and Kathi have such a huge love for them and love when they get to go and see them.
Salvations
During every Spirit School, Kevin leads all the kids in a prayer to ask Jesus into their hearts. He speaks life into them and shows them through several props how fearfully and wonderfully made they are, and explains to them that they are so special to God. Several hundred kids have been lead to Jesus at the Spirit Schools so far!
Mercy Mission
Warrior Notes Mercy Mission outreach provides a unique opportunity for single mothers with children and families with special needs to join us at our Spirit School conferences. This all-encompassing experience includes travel aboard our Warrior Jet, hotel accommodations, meals, and priority seating at the meetings. We designed this initiative to actively focus every moment on spiritual growth and community connection, ensuring that our guests receive love, support, and renewal in a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled environment.
Scholarships
It is always on the hearts of Kevin and Kathi to help scholarship those who would not otherwise be able to attend Warrior Notes School of Ministry. We have given thousands of free classes to single moms, single dads, teenagers, veterans, and others.
Homeless Street Outreach
We make what we call “homeless packets” which is gallon-size Ziploc bags with hand warmers, gloves, beanie hats, socks, toiletries like a travel toothbrush and toothpaste, lotion, deodorant, etc. Another thing we do is make hot dogs with chili and cheese, wrap them up in aluminum foil, and put them in little coolers. When we go out on the streets, we use foldable wagons and walk around with all these items and when word gets around, people will come up to you. Once you hand out these items you offer prayer afterward.
Thanksgiving Blessing Outreach
This past Thanksgiving, Kevin and Kathi invested in several Warrior Fellowships and paid for 50 families at each Fellowship to receive ingredients to cook a full Thanksgiving Dinner including a turkey, stuffing, vegetables, butter, gravy packets, mashed potatoes, rolls, and even a dessert pie! So many families were provided dinner that would not otherwise have one.
Back-to-School Outreach
About one month to three weeks before school starts up is a great time to have an outreach in a big parking lot. You can rent bounce houses and have raffle tickets and give away bikes and prizes. The main thing is we have a ton of school supplies by getting the local school supply lists from the schools, and backpacks. On the day of the event, we actually go to the Walmart closest to our church, hang out in the school supply section, and hand out flyers about school supplies that we are giving away free. People have left Walmart and come straight over! We have a cotton candy machine, grill hotdogs, have little bags of chips from Sam’s Club, make popcorn, and give it all away for free. Every 20-30 minutes someone gets up with a microphone and gives away prizes with raffle tickets and we have someone give a Gospel message. This is a great outreach to get kids involved with.
Puerto Rico
Warrior Notes has taken mission trips to Puerto Rico several times in the last few years. While there, Kevin taught the local people there, sharing the love of God and how they are so valued and loved by Him.
Instruments
Kevin saw in Heaven that everyone should be able to play an instrument. Therefore, at Spirit Schools, hundreds of instruments have been given to children, in hopes they will learn to play and worship Jesus with them.
One-on-One Evangelism
Pick out a neighborhood and map it out. Groups can drive around and make notes about different houses. Maybe it’s a single mom or elderly person that needs their house pressure washed or leaves raked up, etc. Then, when you knock on the door and get their name, you can ask if they would like prayer and ask them if you could rake their yard or pressure wash their house. This builds a relationship with them by offering free work. It will put their guard down. You could bake cookies, wash their car, or ask them what they would need to be done.
Warrior Coffee Shop
This is an outreach where you can serve coffee for a suggested donation and have the proceeds go to local outreaches in the Warrior Fellowships.
Warrior Healing Rooms
A Healing Room is a place where you can come in to receive prayer for physical healing, emotional healing, and deliverance. Most of these healing rooms have a sign-up sheet where you can reserve a specific time to meet with the leaders to receive prayer.
Warrior Kids Ground School
During each Spirit School, Kevin takes time to teach the kids about flying airplanes, and about how special they are to God. They are taken through a real flight simulation, as well as gun safety and are given the opportunity to shoot dinosaurs with nerf guns. After the kids session, he has all the kids lay their hands on prayer cloths and help hand them out, and gives the kids rocks with words on them, and has the kids pray over them and ask the Lord who to give it to. This is a beginning to teach the kids how to prophesy.
Warrior Fellowships
Warrior Fellowships are led by Warrior Notes School of Ministry students in their local community. They are held weekly and have videos of Kevin teaching that they show to their group. There have been so many incredible testimonies coming out of these groups with outreaches, healings, etc, so we wanted to show them here!
