Knowing His Ways
He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel (Psalms 103:7).
I have seen such a change in my life since Jesus, the Son of God, taught me about prayer. I remember all of the books and teachings I have encountered over my lifetime on the subject of prayer. What was most profound to me was the discrepancy between the person teaching and my own prayer life. I realized that something was missing from my prayer time, and I wanted it resolved quickly. Then, Jesus changed me on the inside. Now the way I pray is also changed forever. You see, in 1992 I had a near-death experience. In the fall of that year, that experience occurred, and it has imprinted on me the very personality of Jesus. (Please read my book Heavenly Visitation for the whole account.)
I learned the power of prayer in that visitation. I stood outside my body in the operating room and I waited for someone in Heaven to come and either take me to be with Jesus or send me back to my body. I could not get back myself, no matter how hard I tried. I encountered Jesus, the Messiah, in person.
Jesus encouraged me to never give up on my prayers and to always pray with intensity and faith. Even when I did not see changes or immediate results, Jesus told me to continue praying and keep praying through until I knew my prayer was complete.
